Carbon Layer Tally and Wall Thickness Approximation

I document every layup on sheets that looks like this.

Each piece of carbon laid on the frame is listed and described then drawn onto the frame outline. Here is an excel spreadsheet and PDF of the blank tracker if interested. And here is a PDF of all my tracker forms so far.

Then using the layup trackers, I tally the quantity and orientation of the plys at important points. The tally looks like this:

The last page of the tally shows the total layers at each query point with an approximation of wall thickness. It also shows a ply count and thickness approximation by orientation.
