Reinforcing the gap between the last core segments essentially connected the 2 halves of the bike frame: front and back. Simple wrap of braided tubing spliced open.
The last 2 joint reinforcements were wrapped with the elastic banding while the other segment reinforcements were still curing.
With the compression banding removed, the frame is now able to be removed from the fixture.
Here's the bicycle frame, removed from the fixture and set atop many of the fixture components.
At this point, the frame is a hollow semi-rigid shape which serves only as a starting interior for the structural composite layups atop.
